It is the mission of all teachers and administrators at Prairie Home Kids that each child is presented with experiences and materials that facilitates and enables the full development of the individual child’s social and emotional being, and their cognitive and physical self. It is the belief of the staff at Prairie Home Kids that those experiences are best learned and internalized if wrapped in purposeful play.
In-Home Day Care Goals:
The goals of PHK are to provide high quality physical and instructional environments for infants to five year olds in a home setting. Six to eight interest areas will be set throughout the home and the children will receive a balance of self and teacher directed activities.
After School Care Goals:
We are committed to ensure every child and family safe, comfortable, enjoyable experiences during after-school hours. We will always extend unconditional positive regard to all children and will create a welcoming and protective environment.
