At Prairie Home Kids it is our mission to provide the highest quality early learning experience possible. We believe this is accomplished through safe, carefully prepared environments that encourage exploration and fuel curiosity. Children are appropriately guided and encouraged to work cooperatively as they negotiate social encounters with their peers. They are allowed to learn social skills naturally and peacefully. Permission is given to make mistakes and learn naturally from those mistakes where no harm comes to either the learner or classmates. We always encourage a spirit of enjoyment, exploration and purposeful play. It is our goal to have each child leave Prairie Home Kids with a love of learning and a peaceful, grounded spirit. Prairie Home Kids was established in 2008 in Oak Park, Illinois.
